wedding bells
of course. I will be photo blog crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and when I find the dress, I will post it. Saw this lovely Baby doll dress, but it was in black only
sigh. It would of been lovely
yes I want to see lots of pics too!
I wouldn't spend more than 400/500 quid on a wedding dress and wouldn't go more then 200 on bridesmaids, the most important thing is how it looks and if you like it but I would sell it on, bridesmaids could wear theirs again or I'd sell them on, or go to a wedding fair or get it second hand or something.
It'd be cool to go to a vintage fair and get one. Hey, I'm going to one on Sunday, I'll find you one!
awesome! you guys have great ideas and guess what! I got accepted to uni !!!! Going to study Religion! Woot!!!!!
Oh nice one! Well done!
thanks!
That is gorgeous. I want a Vivienne Westwood one though, it would be amazing.
it would be. But I saw a few styles when I was out today. But all were dark colours...
This is a very interesting conversation. I would have to agree all those dresses look really pretty on that website, but I want my dress to cover my shoes, 'cuz I'm tall and don't want to wear heels, otherwise, I'd be taller than my man. So, my dress has got to cover my shoes. I want one that is strapless and poufy on the bottom. Poufy is always fun! Then, I want my bridesmaids to have navy blue dresses and yellow roses and I'll have red roses. Yeah...I've put a lot of thought into a wedding....but I'm not engaged yet. Although my man and I have talked about it and as soon as we are financially stable and since I am just getting ready to graduate from college...stable in our jobs...things should just fall into place I hope...
its nice to have things thought out. I like shorter dresses, because I am only 5'3 and my bf is 5'6. So I can wear heels
I'm tall KT, 5'8, Mike is about 6'1 but I have shoes that are the same shape as heals but have tiny heals or are flat so you could easily find flat shoes that are beautiful and deserve to be shown off as much as your dress!
I always get a very traditional image of a bride in my head when I think of weddings. It goes against what I usually think about men and women! I think you could get wedding shoes that aren't labelled as wedding shoes on the high street but they have to look a certain way, like not the heals you'd wear in a club at all. I'd go for satiny things with beads and embroidery on them
My boy and I are the exact same height, 5'8 3/4" seriously...I think i'm maybe a sliver taller than him...so..i'd have to find FLAT shoes. Which I don't have a problem with...I can totally imagine myself wearing sneakers down the aisle and him thinking it's totally hot....I know that sounds weird...and hilarious, but it's true. HAHA
And Michelle, you are one of those lucky girls who gets to be short...sometimes I wish i wasn't cursed with long legs, because it's so hard to find clothes that fit the RIGHT way.
Yeh my mum is 6ft! I got this shrug that said it was one size and my mum tried it on and it didn't fit her in the arms She is a size 9 in shoes! I don't have that much problem with finding things that fit really, luckily and she doesn't as much as she used to I like being tall though, hold your head up high misses! it's higher then everyone elses anyway! lol
anyway weddings...
oooh...bf's bday party pics
