revamping hair flowers

so..... I have this big white hair flower, and in my school I like to wear things in my hair that represent me, last year I wore plain coloured flowers and hairbands I even did a giant button flower! Happy but I've been thinking now, and I want to revamp this white one I have. its quite big, but not that big. if you know what I mean.

any suggestions would be appreciated

I have this really pretty hair flower clip that has rhinestones in the centre on a metal base that has some chains hanging from it, depending on the type of flower you have that could work.
Also, feathers, lace in a contrasting colour, spray-painting it metallic gold or silver, adding some mirror/cd shards in the centre or really just finding odds-and-ends that you think would look kind of cute/quirky with it would look good.

If it's made out of fabric you could marble it with shaving cream like the picture below. You can find videos on how to do this on youtube.

You could glue glitter to the tips of each petal. If you do, I suggest using a fine glitter so that it stays neater(you'll see what I mean if you do it) Happy

I took some paint, and glitter, and splatted that all over it, unfortuntly I don't have a picture. It was awesome. That was until someone stole it I believe. Happy
