question regaurding harley quinns comic shoes how to

I was just wondering if it has to be comic paper to make these or if regular paper would work too? I want to make some but was going to print some pics off instead of using comics. thnx

any paper will work. i imagine waxy paper would be more difficult but the rest would be fine.

I started the project I used some comics but, I also printed some pictures that I really wanted to use and it worked but, it was a little less durable while puting it on I almost messed it up. lol but it did work out Happy
