I Got A New Fancy Toy

I couldn't help myself this afternoon at Michaels craft store. I went to pick up supplies and came home with a fancy new toy. I bought a Threads and Loops sock loom and I got it for $9 bucks with the 50 % off coupon! Happy Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it.

I can knit with needles, but looms are just fasters to me.

Do anyone else on here have/use sock looms? If so what kind?

I do not have a sock loom, but have been wanting one. I use looms all the time to knit hats, scarves and gloves. I've looked online for sock patterns for round looms and found a few, but they seem complicated and there's more patterns for sock looms.

Let me know how you like it. That's a good deal at Michaels. The price is part of the reason I haven't bought one yet.

Stacy, it's great so far and I should be done with my first loom sock tomorrow. I have never made gloves with a loom before, only quick hats, scarves, and leg warmers.

I'm using the pattern that came with the loom for now, but once I finish my test set I will try the free pattern I picked up at Joann for loom socks. Joann and Michaels usually have a lot of free craft sample patterns hanging through out their stores.
