@catmorley It's by Sarah Graley, she does a really cool webcomic called Our Super Adventure about her boyfriend and cats Love She was doing commissions one year for Valentines day so I got this one done of me and my Joe Happy

You guys are so neat and organized! Here is my pitiful bookshelf. I lost a lot of my books and I'm rebuilding my collection (much against my husbands wishes). The plastic bag on the shelf are comics I just bought at a convention and the top shelf are predominately my notebooks. I LOVE notebooks.

Space is at a serious premium in my new place. My bookcase is multipurpose. I have craft stuff on the bottom shelf, craft books and photo albums on the middle shelf, novels on the top shelf and jewellry and cosmetics on the top.

I have left most of my craft books with my boyfriend. They are sadly all packed away in the attic.

Is it weird that I'm really enjoying browsing everyone's libraries and seeing which books they have and playing got-got-not-got?! Geek

@MischievousRaven My dvd's are in a hall cupboard that I share with my housemate. I don't dare take a photo of that - its far too chaotic!

@Catmorley It's funny that you asked I had to go get the bag and see what they were. LOL! They were selling them so cheap I couldn't pass it up. I took so long my daughter left me. I got Justice League, a few X-Men, Superman, Star Wars, Black Lightning, and some new artist that I flirted my way for a free autograph! Lol!

My bookshelf is a disaster. I gave up on any sort of a "system" ages ago, after about the third move within a year. XD But my dvd collection is another story. I spent an entire weekend once creating the perfect system for mine and my mom's movies. The rack starts with series/collections (ex: all of the Star Wars movies are together, all of the Ghostbusters together, etc.), arranged alphabetically. Then the standalone movies, alphabetically. Then all the kids' movies on another smaller shelf, also alphabetically and starting with collections. We have so many of those still on vhs though, so those all go at the bottom (where my niece can see them easier to pick them out herself). And mine are all hidden away in another room so certain young visitors won't be disturbed by the images on the covers of my extensive horror movie collection.

My mom and I are both movie addicts who have been known to spend hours digging through the $5 dvd bins at Walmart and ONLY go shopping on Black Friday for movies, yet still manage to spend a good $80-90 between the two of us every year, so our collection is pretty sizable. We recently have been having the problem where we can never remember which movies we *don't* own yet, and at one point ended up with THREE copies of Silence of the Lambs. Tongue I finally decided to take one for the team and create a spreadsheet of every move owned between the two of us. It took me 2 days. lol but no duplicates since!

lol it's not as pretty as a rainbow system, but it's the first one I've come up with that has managed to organize our little library in a way that you can actually find what you want on the first try every time.

We did this at work today and I thought of you all!!

It's pretty and rainbowy, but really this is our library's show of support for all things LGBTQI, equality and being good to each other, which we decided is much needed after the events of last week Cry
