Customized ukelele

Hi! well, I've recently found this DIY ukelele kit: http://www.vat19.com/dvds/build-your-own-ukulele-kit.cfm?adid=youtube
I had been looking for one for a while and this is perfect because you can do it yourself -and that's always a good thing ;)- and It's also customizable. Can anyone give me some ideas?

I like the idea of this! However, I would have no idea what to paint on it. Knowing me, I would paint a rubber duck on it.

I saw looked at your blog and I like the gold and dark red design you did on your nails. I think that would look really cool on a uke!

You could take some old sheet music and tear and layer it on there with some modge podge. You could, too, if you wanted to add color, add some paint to the modge podge. It will add that color tint, but you can still see the music under it.

Maybe you could do some Japanese decoden on it? That would look cool if you're into that kinda thing!

Oh my god! I'm sorry I didn't answer before! I've been a bit offline and I forgot about the post -.-"
I really like all the ideas, specially the music sheet one, but my friends gave me an uke for my birthday and it was already painted (black and red by the way, so I think green duck won XD) They wanted to buy me the vat19 one, but there wasn't any left Happy
Anyway thank you for all the ideas!!
