What to do with gift wrap tubes?
A while ago, I bought Indian hand-made gift wrapping paper at the World Market, and I've got these thick tubes that the papers came on. They're about 2 and a half feet long and about an inch thick.
I was thinking of making a jewelry display with them but the cardboard is so thick it would be really difficult to cut through. I don't want to take them to the recycle bin just yet because I feel like there's something I could be doing with them.
Any suggestions? I'm open to anything
...I have no idea what you r talking about!! Sorry

I was thinking you could try making poppers out of the tubes but since they are hard to cut maybe u can tie or glue two together in a triangle shape. An use two triangles an a poster boardo make a large display sign or jewelry stand. Also a base for a makeshift table or checker/chess board. Even a really not picture frame. Well that's all I can come up with for now
Good luck with the tubes Monika.
Do you have a cat? Add some food and seal the ends and you have some cat enrichment. They are also make great cat toys!
Ok, soooooooo here is a cute idea I used to do. You take a 5-6 inch cutting of the tube or a paper towel roll. You fill it with small gifts or candy.
Use some festive paper to go around it, and twist the sides of the paper to be like candy wrappers and tie ribbon to fasten it.
so it is like a tootsie roll looking gift box.
That is quite an awesome idea! I will have to try that!
That what's poppers are, tubes filled with candy an small toys/coins an wrapped in decorated paper or fabric. Great party favors
Oh! I was thinking poppers as in, the little things where you pull a string and confetti flies out! lol
I cut a small piece of one of the tubes off to cover it in paper--I just need to use some heavy duty scissors. The tubes aren't too thick so I'm not sure yet what I'll put in them... maybe jewelry or something. I'm saving my empty TP and paper towel tubes for this now! Those are at least big enough to fit a few really small soaps into
I have about 8 million tubes in my house right now lol - my husband would throw them all away in a heartbeat if he could! I keep them for my babies; I have three pet rats. I put some peanut butter and other little treats inside, and wrap it with color-free paper. It feels like Christmas in the rat cage haha
