resource for pattern lingo

I've been sewing since I was a very wee lass, but recently scored with a butt load of patterns on sale. I've made elaborate costumes, clothing, purses etc in the past-- but none from patterns. All from things I would make up on my own.

Now that I want to use these patterns, I found that I'm having a really hard time figuring out what the heck the instructions mean.

All the websites I've come across for help are way too basic, just describing out to cut things out, fabrics, etc but nothing once you get to the actual sewing stage.

I can probably scramble through most of it, but the daintier bits of clothes become a real difficulty. Does anyone have a good 'advanced' resource for pattern help or glossaries?
