Where do you buy arts and crafts stuff?
Never underestimate cheap shops. I'm a sucker for poundland and 99p stores. I got a glue gun and a mightly huge tube of uhu from the 99p shop the other week and i'm yet to be disapointed. Plus I picked up £13 of beads and embellishments from a cheap card shop in the local shops buy me.
Also those in the UK always keep an eye out for the WHSmiths clearance section, I picked up acrylic paints, drawing pencils and colouring pencils by Reeves for the princely sum of 2.97. Bargains.
oh and it's always worth having a look on www.moneysavingexpert.com, join up scan the forums and it gives links to free bits and pieces. It's not always great for craft stuff but it has lots if users who often put up cheap sites they've found etc.
I live in Romania ...and I cannot find craft stores were I live ,but I'm lucky that the store I;m going has stuffs from America and I can also find craft supplies.
I go to Hobbycraft now mostly, because they opened one that's close enough to where I live for my mum to be willing to drive me there . It's okay, as it as pretty much everything, but some of their items are overpriced and I can find them cheaper other places.
There's a great little bead shop in my town, and they've got a good range of things and it's not too expensive. There's also another craft shop at the end of the high street, but they sell more of the scrapbooking type things so I only go there if there's something basic I want.
In the town next to mine there's a craft shop that, again, sells more of the scrapbooking type stuff, but they sell some really nice glass pendants so I go there occasionally. And they sell fruit smoothies as well, which are sooo yummy I can't resist having one every time I'm there (it's all good for me though, so there's no harm in it ). There's a good haberdashery just down the road as well, so I go there for my fabric.
