I live in the centre of Reykjavik, so I am very lucky that the craft store(I think the only actual proper one) is at the end of my road!! haha There are a lot of yarn shops and ones that sell the great Icelandic loppi...so itchy and warm lol
There are two fabric stores downtown too and then in the mall near me the big dept store has a great selection of yarn.
I am quite lucky to have become a crafter at this time in my life Happy

I'm super lucky because I live right in the city centre and above a fabric store, with another one just around the corner. There's also a couple of craft stores, a wool shop and an art store near me. I also pick up a lot of supplies from supermarkets, charity stores and eBay.

If you're really stuck, just buy a bunch of stuff in bulk online.

I doubt I can since my mum would be like "what are these boxes from crafty 'r' us " or something along the lines of that.We only have wool shops here but I would love to make the high voltage necklace and wish I woke up and suddenly found some shrink plastic lying around.

Where do you live Amy? If you're in the UK, we could do a Christmas card swap and I could put some shrink plastic in your card.

I'm in Keller, so I just go to Michaels for EVERYTHING they have ALL the craft stuff you could possibly imagine. I blow my money there nine times outta ten. Happy

I'm sure it'll be fine if it's first class, sending out some other cards on Monday too. Get back to me tonight if you want one and I'll pop it in the post tomorrow! Happy

I get most of mine from a small craft shop in a local market hall. They have like EVERYTHING in there, it's wonderful, and there's a fabric stall nearby where I buy scraps of fabric. I always just spend my money there

I get mine from the very limited shops we have here.
There's a cute little shop about ten minutes away from me that has a haberdashery corner, with limited wool and button and ribbons and things, then there's a teeeny tiny haberdashery shop about thirty minutes away, and an art shop thirty minutes away, and my new favourite shop- a curtain shop that sells old display curtains for £1.99 each. I love brocade fabric!

Shivi and I are addicted to 2 dollar stores, they have so much awesome stuff and are really cheap.

Me and the Joanne Fabrics and Michaels Craft Store are good friends. They tend to take a 1/4 of my paycheck.
Occasionally I need to shop at Tandy Leather shop. I'm very lucky to have one of those within 10 miles.

I also shop online for fabric on ebay and such for rare finds like 6" silver mini fringe (it was darn near impossible to find)

I buy mine from the Range, it sells garden and homeware stuff as well, it's the kinda place people go on saturdays for no reason.

There's a homegrown shop in the town over but it's akward to get to.
