Fimo Help!
I've started using fimo, but i have a huge problem, I dont know waht to bake it on,
like a baking tray, or with greaseproof paper, call me stupid but i just dont get it :')
HELP! thanks x
I bake mine on a non-stick baking tray, no paper....but jewellery I bake inside the actual setting I'm going to use, so it keeps good shape.
I use foil when I bake mine. The husband didn't like the idea of me using our baking pans for my clay projects lol
I use Sculpey and I just use a pan with tin foil...
i use wax paper on a baking tray
I'm with Sug and Kira, I use tin foil
I think using a baking tray is the best idea, but I would put some grease proof paper on it, mostly just for the sake of putting grease proof paper on the baking tray. I don't think it really matters, as long as you have a tray ;D
I keep a dedicated non stick tray for polymer clay projects.....I'm more worried about someone using my clay tray for cooking
Yeah, what harrylaa said, I dont use foil because I am afraid the temp would be higher than what its supposed to be. Besides I make my pieces on the wax paper so I have no problem with transferring it to my tray. I guess it really doesn't matter, just so long as you bake it on smooth flat surface and if you use one with wax paper, foil or whatever, that's fine too. But if you don't use any of that, then by all means make sure that's the only thing you use it for. To be on the safe side, store it with your craft stuff and not in the kitchen with other cooking tools.
I use foil -just get a piece in my craft supplies and re-use as and when.
