What crafty stuff have you been up to today?
I just finished up putting together a kit to create a felted Merino Wool Scarf. It turned out so wonderful and soft.

I am still knitting my friends scarf, it's looking great, just slow going. I'm using moss stitch and doing it in chunks of plum and black. I wish it was for me hehe
I had some scrap fabric left over from making a baby quilt for my new nephew so I made him a little star pillow out the the backing fabric for him to drool on and play with.
Aww, that's really pretty. Great job
Aww, that's really pretty. Great job
Thanks!
Ready made quilt sets FTW. After the first couple of quilts where I spent half my time measuring and cutting just to make sure it was right it was really nice to open up the set, make 6 cuts and be ready to sew it all together.
Ahh, that's a very good idea. I hate measuring things out first, no fun
That is so beautiful! My friend is having a baby next year and I am bookmarking every cool kids thing I find!
Where did you buy the kits, may I ask?
I made this tshirt. I made the character on this cool Hero Generator http://www.ugo.com/channels/comics/heroMachine2/heromachine2.asp

Then I printed it out onto transfer paper and ironed it on to my tshirt, but I think some steam got onto the design before it was ready, as it's all blotchy

That looks great, transfer paper works so well.
I'm currently baking a Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake in the oven and I'm not entirely convinced that it wont be a disaster. I'll update you on it's progress, and whether anyone actually ate any, later!
I have become obsessed with pie's lately! They are everywhere! I am watching a tv show called Pushing Daisies a comedy and the main guy works in a pie place and the pies all look so delicious! mmm pie
My partner Michelle has been very crafty this month as she's been out of work because of the Broadway stagehands' strike. She's been perfecting her knitting skills, making sweaters and hats for our daughter and for our friend Beth, who's having a baby in a couple of months. Now the strike is settled and she's back to work.
I finished a scarf for a friend for xmas
