Mars attacks costume help

I'm toying with the idea as dressing up as the female marian with the giant blonde beehive.
The only thing is I'm not sure how to do the wig/hair. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas or tips?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi! i love wig play...the way ive found to be the easies is to stuff nylons with old scraps or fill, adjusted to the size and shape, add an elastic band for your head circumfrence and then fabric spray for bald or spay glue on fake hair. most of these things can be found at the thrift store, wigs can be costly. I took styro foam glued and cut into the shape i needed, put a piece of fabric over it and added yarn for hair. Im not sure if this was helpful...let me know how it goes and good luck.

Hey, some of those cheap(ish) Marie Antoinette or pantomime dame wigs are a pretty close match to the beehive... In shape anyway ^^
