We took an inspiring nature filled trip around the Eden Project in Cornwall last month. After discovering plants, flowers and creatures from around the world, we got crafty and made a lightbulb terrarium inspired by our trip, so we could take a little piece of Eden home with us.

We were invited to take a tour of the Eden Project today, which is somewhere I've always wanted to visit and have been really curious about.
The project covers a huge space with two giant biodomes and lots of outdoor gardens to explore too.
The first dome was tropical with plants, flowers and fruit from the world's jungles.
It got very hot as we walked between climates and especially as we crossed the walkways high above the jungle.
The hottest point was a viewing platform at the very top of the dome, which was closed during the warmest parts of the day.
The view from the top was amazing and gave you the scale of how huge and impressive the dome was.
Things cooled down as we made our way into the second dome and to the Mediterranean for brunch.
There was a lovely cafe at the start of the dome where you could sit and have breakfast among the wildlife.
The birds were so tame and perched on the back of our seats while we tucked into our food.
I got a detox smoothie with fennel, pear, carrot and lemon before heading outside to explore the gardens.
I picked up some air plants and a squished penny from the shop before we headed off to Bodmin Moor.
