Hi, I got the basic idea from the threadbanger mad hatter hat. Then I developed a way to make the fabric pattern and changed the scale and shape a bit. I used the hat base for my fascinator and samhain hats too. I developed a different way of fabric construction for the top rim. If you check my Tall Hat project you will see it's a neater solution.....I really am a bit of a mad hatter....Lol
I use re-cycled materials for my hats. I can get 3 or 4 out of a second hand top if I cut it carefully. There are so many useful fabric and materials that get thrown away....grrr. Sounds like we share many values. The fascinator hat started life as a paper coffee cup ;D

That's not too bad then. I'm sure Poukie is much better at being brushed than my two. They end up attacking the brush when I try.

Mine are just your average short-haired moggies. They're brother and sister and are called Cupcake and Leviathan (Levy for short).

Levy has been driving me up the wall this evening. I've been crocheting and every so often I came across sopping wet bits of yarn where Levy had been chewing on it. Oh well. I wouldn't change him for the world.

Oh, well they're cute cats anyway. I've never had a long haired cat before. Are they as high maintenance as everyone makes out?

I've got two too.
