Hmmm so where to start on info about me I am 28 on the 14th January eek I can’t believe it as I still feel the same age as the kiddy twinks I teach. I am a Textiles teacher, teaching loverlies between the age of 11 – 16 (I do miss teaching the older ones 16-18, but my school doesn’t offer that). I am glad to be teaching my passion as I think my enthusiasm rubs off on the kids, I love it when they get as excited as me over some fabric or a new technique!
I live in Liverpool, England with my fiancé John and two gorgeous guinea piggles Jack and Mo. Before being a teacher I was a set and costume designer after training in LIPA. If I were to ask someone to describe my character they would instantly say Elf! As in Will Ferrel ... yes I do really act like him in every way .... apart from the burping ... eeewwww!!!! I get sooo excited over the smallest things and love everything – apart from purple and orange together – it makes me feel physically sick – wrong on sooooo many levels!!!
At the moment I am launching a new mission on my textiles room – firstly trying to find it under all my stuff and secondly making it look beautiful. I love the book Sew Pretty Home Style by Tone Finnager and the colourways in that book are EXACTLY what I would like to achieve, gorgeous pastle lime greens, sky blues, posy pinks, beiges and girlified gorgeousness. If you would like to make me anything in that book I would be sure to wheek with excitement Oooo that reminds me I am also a little bit like Agnes from Despicable Me – actually I am a lot like her
I am so excited at having the opportunity to craft for someone in another country, when I was a teenager I used to have lots of penpals and loved the idea of sending gifts to make them smile. Hopefully I will be able to do the same for the person I claim. Hopefully I will be able to squeeze in two as I understand that there is a limit for newbies
I just want to say thank you now if you do choose to craft for me – those kinds of presents are simply magical as I believe that when a gift is made you get so much more than you can ever get from a manufactured product. Time and a love for what you are making definitely adds to the spirit of a present! Happy Crafting Peeps

I would love for everyone who I swap with to send me a 4" x 4" square of fabric so I can make a patchwork quilt in my favourite colours. I intend to embroider that swappers name on the square (unless they wish to) so I can have an ongoing project of all of the swaps I take part in.
Thank you x

Anyway, the good thing is... my Birthday is this Friday, YAY! lol, I'm kinda shoving it in a lot of faces.
thank you for your mail. uhhhm i have worked hard on xmas.LOl
my sis called me and had to laught when she was asking how i was dressed and what i was doing. i told her that i was dressed in my pj's LOL
Sometimes that's the best thing to do, i was during those day's stucked to home of the snow outside.and... i had to do a lot of work.
Making some presents and the art gift.
i have made lot of progress on t hat , but now after my appointment in the hospital after a bumbing ride i'm sick of migraine and damaging in my neck-S
so my left arm and hand doens't feel okay.
so i can't work now very hard, must wait for some recouvering but i try to make the gift i was making ready.
i will see my birthday friend next monday, she had asked me a very kitschy necklace.LOL
so i have made my own beads of lids and used very kitschy things.LOL
i think she will love it, she told me that she wanted a long necklace for going out to a party, i told Gerard of it and he said huhhh is she going to a party. ?
so i hear what my wife is doing and have planned, thank you.LOL
like those jokes,
aaaaw that great that you have celebreath those day for the first time together.
glad for you!!!;-D
must laught that you having the same problems.LOL
but i have only bought some clover tools this time.LOl saw in a dutch art textile magazine some awesome artist books , sooo difficult and hard to not buy them.LOL
but i have seen a book that i had allready on cok and only had took a quick look in it and no more, so ... i don't think it's smart to buy new books.
Hey have a great fun new years eve , and all the best wishes again.
lots of love and hugs for you till soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and Yeaaaaah we're now friends.LOL
Hey i have that book knitting cakes too.LOL only i didn't have knit one thing of it.
so much to do, i don't have so much energy.LOL
Like the other books too, but i have allready so much books and... because i will move to an other city this year may i don't must buy them.LOL
so when i'm crafting i have promised myself to don't buy more crafting suplies.
Only handy tools.LOL
i have given myself as a birthday present the new little flat iron tool of Clover.
Because you can change the shapes of the iron . like that.
but i still haven't the time to use it. It will come.
sometimes i have the tools for years and suddenly they will be used often.
Did you had a nice xmas time. i hope so!!
wish you an awesome week and for later, a happy fun nice awesome good great creative crafting new year as well!!!
hey lots of greetings and fun , hugs and xxxxxxx
he i have done a lot of stupid mistakes my self, so i 'm always glad that others make them too.LOL
yes teaching cost a lot of time, too when you are at home.
my mum was a teacher and my coach Gerard is a teacher and my sis as well
so i know that holliday's isn't always a holliday for teachers.
Freelance work is nice too, but it's loney often.
i have done a lot and still do those jobs , but miss the connection of other in real live.
or we must make more appointments .
aaaw that a sweet thought of fabric pincushions and set them on your cake stand of healthy enjoying them.LOL
love that.
hey i think you have an other person i didn't have made a book,
but i 'm working on fabric art thats right.D
i have had an exibition in the museon in Leeuwarden and other ones. i like to make a book of my comics but at first i must move .
i will move to an other town in mei.;-D

oooh that's funny i have my degree of fabric teacher too.LOL
only i can't work anymore, so i was glad that i had finished too my art degree on the art academy, so i'm working now for my self.
