About
Embroidery is probably my first love...I started at 7. Literature's my second love, I did it at uni...along with bookbinding, which I did while at uni to earn the money to buy the literature. A vicious cycle!
I'm Filipina-American and I live in Darwin, Australia, on a boat, with my Russian ❤ and a fat cat named Dude. We sail without engines to get to other countries, we row to and from the shore, we eschew cars or anything petrol-hungry. We cycle everywhere. Funny thing is we don't consider ourselves 'eco-friendly'. We just like things better this way.
I dig: Arthouse films. Stacks of pristine paper. The smell of a pressroom. Cats...fat ones with eccentricities. Bizarre music and obstreperous bands. Working with my hands. Craftivism and subversive stitchery. Being meticulous and fussy with what I make. Cooking. Treadmills. Essays. Magnets. Cameras. Polyglots. Gadgets. Candles. Bach, Orff, Rachmaninov, Ook...yes, and Pratchett.
Silver. Coffee. Adbusters. Graffiti. Bicycles. Libraries. Museums. Carnival freakshows. Spiders. Quality kitchen knives. Very tiny things. Very very huge things. Swimming in the sea at night.

- commented on her comment Luma! As Louise Louisa said, you could try a glue, though it could get messy, these small pieces. Double-sided tape is often available at office supplies, art supplies, printing and graphic suppliers. to Tiny Bunting Beads 06 Jul 23:22

- commented on her comment Thanks! Welandra, I love the traditional crazy patchwork, too, but I make this version for my journals, otherwise it would take forever, and my ETSY shop is looking sad these days! Lucia, Happy that you like it! to Cheater's Crazy Patchwork 01 Jul 06:46
