Any form of creativity is for me. I do theatre and circus, have a B.A. degree in theatre, teach it to kids and make it on the side. I head a horror sideshow performance troupe called Dr. Kristov's House of Fun and Horror. I spin and eat fire as well as teach my fellow troupe members how to.
I design props for theatre as well, where crafty-ness comes in handy.
I sew, a lot with my mid-century singer that my grandmother used in high school home ec. Mostly clothes for myself and my 10 year old daughter. I also like playing with polymer clay, beads, shrinky dinks, duct tape and my button maker.
Playing dress-up is a common happening in my house always starting with elaborate make-up from my big ol' kit. I love playing around with stage make-up.
I was a teen mom and yet my life is not total shit. Guess those after school specials were a little exaggerated.
I have cats all of whom are awesome and lovely.
I read and listen to a lot of philosophy and have a personal mission to bring more of it into the arts.
