Jasmine&Violets is  Rebecca Brooks. Rebecca is a retired professional painter who has crossed over into producing children's eBooks and making jewelry. Her brief position as a metal sculptors assistant (Dan Blue Chicago, Il) gave her a love of metal back in 1997. She has always loved design, gemstones, and metal work.   Making jewelry combines all of these.  Rebecca has slowly become disabled by osteoarthritis of the neck and spine in addition to degenerative disc disease, despite the obstacles she faces everyday physically she finds a way to fit being creative in to every day in every way.
