Hi,

I am Shatakshi (Aki) and this is my blog. It is a place for me to share my inspirations, ideas, projects and life’s little adventures.

I graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata with a degree in Fashion Design. I have worked with three diverse companies over the past four years. It was during my last stint as an ethnic-wear designer that I planned to start AKI 1 a.m. I am still assaying blogging as a career choice. I am currently living in Kolkata, India and working on assorted projects ranging from apparel design to event planning.

I believe that good design is an empowering tool that should be accessible to everyone. I would like to explore my passion for style, gifting and handmade products on the blog. I find inspiration for my creations just about everywhere, from runways to everyday objects. I love to be creative and explore new ideas in every aspect of my life.
