How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I was searching the web for ideas for Christmas presents to make and stumbled across CO+K I joined becasue I wanted to be a part of all these creative people sharing projects!
What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on polymer clay fairy houses for my herb garden and several projects for my sister's upcoming birthday including an interactive pop-up card, a tatted dream catcher, and an ice cream themed polymer clay charm bracelet.

What does your craft space look like?
My craft space is an organized disaster most of the time! I usually have multiple projects going on at the same time. And yes, I confess, I am a craft supply hoarder. I try to organize supplies into bins by type and keep my table surfaces mostly cleared off so I can get crafty when the mood strikes.
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
I probably use paper more than anything else, or scissors, but that's really all you need sometimes to make some pretty great things. I once folded 100 tiny origami cranes and connected them with thread to make a garland as a gift. It was very well received and it was basically just paper.
What do you craft along to?
I switch back and forth between crafting to tv shows and audiobooks depending on the craft. Following the plot of an audiobook can be difficult when counting crochet stiches so it's usually television for fiber arts and audiobooks for paper crafts and polymer clay sculpting.

Favorite Craft
This is such a difficult question! I have so many crafts that I enjoy and I'm always trying out new things. A staple that I've working with for years is polymer clay. My favorite things to make are tiny food charms to put on charm bracelets. I mostly create desert themed charms but I made one with avocados and bell peppers for my mom and she loves it. Tiny things are just so adorable!

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
I am trying to figure out knitting with double pointed needles so that I can make some tiny mochimochi. I figured out flat knitting but so far circular knitting has alluded me.

Crochet Cotton Soap Savers is one of my very favorite projects. I like to make soap for gifts and this is the perfect compliment to a bath product basket. I love making them to color coordinate with the soap I'm giving. Fizzy Bath Bombs is another favorite go-to for fun customizable gifts. It's simple and affordable and you can make these any scent or color to make them unique for each gift recipient. I like to use soap molds to get fun shapes to go with my basket theme. DIY Treat Stand is another favorite. It can be so easily customized for any occasion or room décor and uses supplies readily found at dollar stores. I used clear glass and neon Sharpies to make one into a jewelry stand for my bedroom.
