About
I'm a wife (married over 40 years), mother (two grown sons), grandmother (three girls, two boys, plus one baby girl great-grandchild). We live "up the hill" from Bishop CA, in the Eastern Sierra (close to the Nevada border).
I sing in our church choir, substitute in the church handbell choir, work in the Crafty Ladies group to create items for the annual church bazaar, among many other things. My husband is also in the choir. The two of us have worked with Habitat for Humanity (in Africa) and United Methodist work teams in the Gulf Coast area (Katrina rebuilds).
My younger brother and his wife live in our neighborhood, while my older brother and his wife live in Texas (imagine, a native Californian turned Texan). We enjoy traveling together.
