When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
My first memories of cooking/baking are from baking cookies with my mom. There are pictures of me plopping cookie dough onto a baking sheet at age three. I credit my love of baking to my mom, because she let me experiment and play with ingredients/the cooking process from a very young age!
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
TINY and packed to the brim! I recently moved from a large/spacious/open kitchen to a teeny tiny box with only one counter! However, this does force me to stay pretty organized while cooking & baking - I put ingredients away and clean as I go!
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Practice! Experiment! Be okay with failing! I am a total culprit of "just winging it" in the kitchen - sometimes this works out deliciously and sometimes it doesn't, but it always gives me lots of opportunity to practice!
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
In my dream dinner party, Jess of How Sweet Eats and Joy the Baker would cook for ME.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Baking and blogging and traveling and taking pictures of it all!
Which cooking blogs do you love to read?
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Butter.
