What are your hobbies?
When I'm not nannying, blogging, crafting, or cooking, you'll probably find me with my nose in a book, outside with my husband exploring, laughing with friends, or playing a competitive game of settler's with my family.
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
I love experimenting with new recipes and transforming old furniture.
I dream of one day having a bright cheery room all for crafting. Until then I make messes wherever the light is. In the mornings, I craft at my desk with supplies usually scattered on floor. In the evenings, I work in the golden light at our kitchen table. In the meantime, I make delicious things in our tiny, dark kitchen.
What do you craft along to?
I jump between Mat Kearney, OneRepublic, and Dave Barnes Pandora stations with Joy the Baker and Shutterbean podcasts throw in when I need a laugh.
What was the first project you ever made?
I remember making lots of messes as a child using the the book, Kid's Crazy Art Concoctions. Oh and a non-edible summer favorite, dandelion stone soup.
What are your favorite items to make?
Paper crafts, upcycling old things, and baking
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
