What are your hobbies?
As I’ve mentioned, I’m really into music. I’m currently obsessing over Scandinavian music, there’s so much creative sound coming from that region right now. I also keep fit through swimming, running, hiking and various fitness challenges to keep me motivated!
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
I’ve defo got a bit of an obsession with fabric and paper craft. I just think they’re both really accesible - you can just pick up and go. However, I’m also challenging myself to try out more diverse crafts, such as leather work, woodwork – even knitting!
I’m currently house sharing with a few friends, so my craft space is pretty limited… a desk, a sewing machine, a few drawers of supplies and more fabric than I have space for!
What do you craft along to?
I always get some tunes on when I’m crafting. I’m a big music fan, so combining it with blogging and a pot of tea is my recipe for an ideal weekend!
What was the first project you ever made?
Growing up, I used to make greetings cards all the time – I basically spent my entire childhood covered in glue and bits of paper! This is what started me on my crafty adventures.
What are your favorite items to make?
My blog is all about craft projects for men, so I’ll give anything in this theme a try. I particularly love making practical things that I can actually use: clothes, stuff for the home, things like that. I also make (and wear!) a lot of bow ties – I’ve made them for weddings and parties in the past.
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
Man Made DIY is the pinnacle of mens craft blogging, it’s full of great stuff. There’s sadly a real lack of fellow male craft bloggers out there, so I do follow a few of the major female ones, like A Beautiful Mess and The House That Lars Built. They’re unbeatable for craft inspiration.
