Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
Hamburg is the perfect mix of old history and modern street culture. The art and craft scene here is huge as well as the music and theater scene. There is always somewhere a flea market and where ever you are in Hamburg you are always close to a park, a small lake or a forest. The whole city is very green and the best part is the harbor. I could never live in town without lots of water nearby!
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
To be honest, I have no idea! The moment I started with crafting and DIY I got obsessed. Every day I made something else and never stopped since. Crafting turned out to be a lifestyle for me. I am permanently redesigning my flat.
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
Nope, staying organized is for me something that happens to other people.
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
I am not really interested in celebrities but there are a few bloggers and designers which I would love to visit. But then you would have to check my bag on the way out :-)
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
I would love to have one more room for all my tools and materials. Right now I have to work in the kitchen or on the floor. Next I would relocate my flat next to a lake and least but not last I would love to have a garden!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
A long time ago I used to sing semi-professional (more than a regular hobby with lots of concerts but no payment). Nowadays I am always knee-deep in paint or fabric. If you are a serious DIY blogger your hobby is your job.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
“I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.”
