Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
I'm a first time home buyer so what I love most is being able to alter anything I want! :) I love our vaulted ceilings in the upstairs and the open concept feel.
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
The first thing we did in our home was paint almost every room and the ceilings. The paint colors were dated and made the rooms seem dark.
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
I love being organized but I'm not always the most tidy. :) I do find I stay tidy if I continue to find/create ways to organize a room or space.
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
I would love to go to Ellen DeGenerous and Portia DeRossi's home or Yolanda Foster from Real Housewive's of Beverly Hills.
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
I would recarpet all of the rooms in my home, remove the popcorn ceiling and change the siding on the outside of the house!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I am constantly doing DIY projects and crafts for my home but that's about my limit to crafting. I do sing competitive acapella music on the side. I sing in a female Barbershop quartet.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm a wife and mother to a beautiful almost 2 year old little girl named Lucy. Music and my family are my life. I love blogging and I love making my house a home!
