How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
I would describe my style as edgy cool,but still classic and chic. I'm a tshirt and jeans kinda girl by day but I absolutely LOVE to dress up to go out!! My beauty style icon is Jennifer Lopez and for fashion inspo I love Rihanna, Victoria Beckham and I'm also a sucker for the Kardashians!!!
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
SPF day lotion, a light to medium coverage liquid foundation (Armani Luminous Silk is my fave), pressed or mineral powder, bronzer (always Modelco Matte Bronze), highlighter, concealer, my holy grail: Brow Wiz brow pencil (Anastasia Beverly HIlls), clear brow gel, mascara and lip balm or gloss!
What is your beauty routine like?
I start the day by washing my face just with water (I find this keeps it balanced throughout the day), followed by an SPF day lotion (a cream is too heavy for my combination skin). I wear makeup everyday even if its just a face tint or BB cream, so my evening routine is always the same: a mildly exfoliating cleansing scrub, followed by toner or micellar water, then a rich night cream. I also try and get in a facial or deep cleansing mask every few weeks.
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
Oooh tough question! I would really love to makeover ANY celebrity, just to put my own signature style to their look! I would especially love to work with Rihanna because she really is such a chameleon when it comes to beauty- anything goes!!
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
Try a brightly coloured lipstick for an instant refresh to a tired look! It's amazing what a bright red, pink, purple or coral lip can do to brighten your face! Lipstick is my absolute favourite product to play with!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love to cook! Baking with my two little girls is a common activity after school or on the weekend for us. I also really love interior decorating and gardening. A hobby of mine is collecting old furniture and repainting it- my latest project was a vintage dressing table that I restored for my daughter's bedroom.
