When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
I grew up in a super creative family, so I've always seen my parents crafting and it's just something I started picking up over time. I've definitely found my own little niche though, but it's been a gradual growth since I was little.
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
I'm not a huge designer person. I appreciate collections for the artistic pieces that they are, but I get quite bored by the same people, so I'm constantly obsessing over someone new, BUT I do have a soft spot for Valentino. He can never go wrong in my eyes.
What are your ultimate style tips?
Make sure you're comfortable in what you're wearing and that it makes you confident. If you don't feel 100% confident in what you're wearing, ask yourself why and try and find a solution.
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
I would love to borrow any one of Taylor Swifts dresses. It's impossible to pick one item because I basically love everything she wears.
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
I'm constantly switching between bloggers as I watch their styles evolve, but I've read The Stylish Wanderer, The Cherry Blossom Girl, Sea of Shoes, and my friend Hannah's blog, The Outfit Repeater consistently for years now.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I make YouTube videos (mademoiselleruta) and I also really love watercolour painting. I find it incredibly relaxing.
