When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
As a child, I was my mom's little helper in the kitchen. I always loved cooking and baking and when I started working, I only did it when time permitted. It was only recently, that I got into cooking, baking & blogging full-time!
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
I have a small kitchen with most of my fav kitchen appliances at an easy reach. I like to work in a clean kitchen and before I get started with anything, I make sure everything is in it's place. I have a bit of an OCD when it comes to organizing and working in the kitchen but it's my kitchen- I spend a fair amount of time in it and it deserves that attention! :)
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Try, fail and try again. Have patience. Get inspiration. Cook with fresh ingredients. Cook & bake what you like to eat and you'll love it!
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
I would invite Jamie Oliver and try to impress him with my Indian delicacies!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love anything DIY- from making my own headboard to painting a white frame mirror for a wall. I love to watch Hindi movies, play tennis, travelling & photography.
Which cooking blogs do you love to read?
There are way too many to list them here. But mostly those blogs who I interact with on a day to day basis, who cook real, easy & with fresh ingredients.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Create, inspire, adventure, live, believe & enjoy in your kitchen!
