When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
I was very young when I started cooking and I believe my mom first taught me how to make kraft dinner mac n cheese, but soon after we were baking cookies and muffins, and was permanently put on Salad Duty.
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
My kitchen is fairly big with lots of space, but very little table space. So, when cooking I try to do my dishes while working and put away any ingredients as soon as I'm done with it to make sure I have ample space as I go along. Would love to eventually get an island for extra table room.
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Always try new things! invent recipes or add things to existing ones and share with friends and family for feedback!
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
Oh most likely my favourite musicians, Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Nicks, Josh Homme, Brandon Boyd, The Followills, among others and I'd make whatever they wanted me to make.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love to sew and try diy projects. We also have a big garden I like to get dirty in.
Which cooking blogs do you love to read?
Oh goodness, there's so many amazing cooks in the blogisphere, it's hard to choose just one! But, I always love a good recipe from Laura at Side Street Style.
