This can also be a no-sew project. Simply glue everywhere stitching is mentioned and add the mouth using a permanent marker.

  • How to make a novetly bag. Yoda Bag - Step 1
    Step 1

    Cut out all the pattern pieces, placing the head on the fold as shown on the pattern.

    Step 2

    Stitch on the eyes, layering with the white first, followed by the black and finishing with the green eyelids.

    Stitch on a mouth with the black embroidery floss.

    Step 3

    Fold the ears according to the pattern. Add a few stitches so they stay folded.

    Turn both upper edges of the bag to the inside 1" and stitch.

    Step 4

    Open the bag so the inside is facing up. Pin the ribbon near the edge on each side, extending 3" down into the bag. Place the ears on top of the ribbon, as indicated on the pattern.

    Step 5

    Fold the front over the top and stitch down both sides of the head, 3/8" away from the edge and again 1/8" from the edge.

The funny thing is, I didn't even think of Halloween until someone else mentioned it! This was so fun, I'm sure there will be more down the road!
