  • How to stitch a knit or crochet headband. Wooly Flower Headband / Earband - Step 1

Cut off one sleeve. Make sure the sleeve will fit around your head first with a little bit of extra material otherwise you will need a bigger jumper.

    Step 2

you will end up with a long tube. Flatten the tube-shape and sew the ends so they don't fray.

  • Step 3

Position it on your head over your ears to check size. Sew ends together so you have the band.

  • Step 4

Now for the flower, from another part of the jumper cut out the pattern,(im using my pattern off a previous project i did for a more detailed version of the flower go to: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/simple-flower-headband
)so you end up with 2 big petals and two smaller petals. Then cut the circle out of felt (or any other fabric i just had the black felt handy). Place the petals on top of each other at angles and the circle in the centre, then pin and sew.

  • Step 5

Put the headband on and position the flower on the side. Pin and sew.
