I happen to have a wood burner and tons of wooden boxes at home. And they do look a bit dull, don't they?
So I started working!

Step 1
It's super easy, you just need a wood burner (please be very carefully with it, because it's super hot and I believe it's not pleasant if you touch it...So don't).
Choose a design and trace it on the surface. Then, with a steady hand, trace it with the wood burner.I also did the edges, because it gives that old, used look.

But that wasn't enough for me. The wood was very light and it just didn't go together with the burned design. So I coffee stained everything.
Staining is super easy, I used some cold coffee remaining from the coffee machine, added some cold water and applied it with a paintbrush.
Leave it for a while and then soap up the excess with a paper towel.
After sand everything and finish off with varnishing it.
