Beautiful wire work spider's web
This was tricky to make, the hardest part was getting the main supporting wires placed and fixed to the bangle, the rest was so so,the braiding and adding the crystals was easy, just wraping the wire around the suporting wires of the web, but having the patience paid off.

This was the first attempt at doing this jewelled web,but it looks gorgeous, speciallly when hung up in a window, the sun dances off the crystals sending a rainbow display around the room.

  • How to make a sun catcher. Wire Work, Jewelled Spider's Web - Step 1
    Step 1

you will need to cut 5 pieces of 1mm tiara wire,@ 4" in length, attach them evenly spaced them on to the bangle by wire wrapping and weaving on to the top of the bangle.
start on one side of the bangle and braid the 0.3mm tiara wire, and add the Swaroski crystal into the braided wire tightly, till you get to the other side of the web/bangle.

with the ends of the 1mm wire, make a loop, this is where you can add crystal drops.

Braid some more 0.3mm wire adding more crystals as you go into the braided wire,at the same time with the crystals evenly spaced, wrap the wire around the bangle, at the end of that braiding, add you spider charm.

at the top of the bangele where all the wire wrapping is, tie some fishing line to it.. then your ready to hang up in a window.
