Step 1Here's an old picture frame with intricate detail.

Step 2Paint over it with one coat of chalk paint.

Step 3Leave to dry for 10 minutes, then go over it everywhere with an old lint free rag to remove the excess and leave to dry full before varnishing and clear waxing.
