About
felt flowers = inexpensive, modern, and they're a keepsake that will never die!
This was harder than I thought it would be, but I really love the way it came out. I just used some laminated scrapbook paper to wrap the handle, but it took me quite a while to find the right amount of bubble wrap to make the handle even and not lumpy - or wider at one end than the other.
I had to add the white satin ribbon that has organza ruffle on one side to the top of the handle, to hide the bubble wrap. Then I added a little black lace, and a couple kinds of ribbon. I think I will also add an elastic loop to the back that's big enough for my bridesmaid to put around her wrist, that way the bouquet won't have to be held all the time.
I am waiting for another assortment of black and white ribbon to come in the mail, and then I will make the other one. I think I am also going to use a different pattern of black and white scrapbook paper for the handle.
