Upcycled Real Leather Hair Bow

they call me mellow yellow...
I got these leather scraps from a friend who was going to throw them out. I borrowed a pair of leather shears (don't try to cut thick leather with your nice fabric scissors, it'll just dull them!) and some leather glue, and made myself a little bow. I left an area under the middle piece unglued so that I could slip a bobby pin through.

I like to make things out of unexpected materials. The bow is sort of girly, but the leather makes it a little bit tough. =]
