Step 1
First Layer - Brownies
Mix the butter, sugar and eggs. Add the vanilla to combine. Mix the syrup and melted chocolate and fold in the flour. Line a 9x9 baking dish with 2 pieces of foil to form a sling. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Cool brownies for at least an hour. I popped them in the fridge to speed up the process. -
Step 3
Third Layer - Chocolate Shell
Melt together in microwave for 45 seconds and stir to a beautiful, glossy finish. Pour over the frosting, smooth with an offset spatula and let harden in the fridge.
Isn't this chocolate coating beautiful? I just wanted to lick it up!*NOTE: You want the frosting to be cold and you want to layer the chocolate quickly so the butter does not melt.
