Puk: I totally agree with you! I brought about 48 pen slash brush nail varnishes off of ebay, and some of them are quite thick. I used a dotting tool so if you do it by this method, wipe it off after EVERY use, i.e every time you do a dot or line thanks for the feedback!x

That looks really cool!
Personally I think it looks better from a distance, and it might turn out a little neater when using something like a nailpolish pen or something (the black only though)
But still, I love the idea and it looks good! Definately going to try this one out!
