Add a little sunshine to your cake!
When I was baking my mom a birthday cake, I imagined it decorated with pom pom flowers (in yellow, her favorite color of course). When I went to the craft store and couldn't find anything like what I pictured in my head, I decided to make my own!

You Will Need

Step 1Gather a pile of 8 sheets of tissue paper and cut out squares around 3 1/4" wide.

Step 2Accordion fold your pile of squares and wrap your food safe wire (check your craft stores cake decorating aisle) around the middle.

Step 3
Trim the corners so they are rounded.

Step 4Pull apart the layers and fluff your "flowers".

Step 5
Trim down wire to desired length and place on top of your cake!
