lets get gritty with catherine Yass
Yass is noted for her very brightly coloured photographs, a number of which present an image which is a combination of the positive and negative.

She often burns and scratches her images[and thats what I tried] and works using transparencies [another one I used]

my image is actually four images, layer and burned. the base layer stayed the same,
the second layer was burned.

the 1st text layer was doged , and the 2nd text layer was blurred.
