Super easy tote.
My beloved Nintendo shirt got stained from my 1 year old. ((sigh)). So I had to make something out of it I could use all the time. So I made it into a tote. (=

    Step 1

    Start with a shirt or fabric if you like. Any size you want.

    If you are using a shirt measure out a square on the shirt any size you like and cut through both layers of the shirt.

    If you are using fabric make 1 long strip of fabric, You will be folding it in half later.

    This is the bottom of the shirt. You will use this for the handles. Cut in half. You should have to strips that are about 3 inches wide and however long you want them. Fold in half and sew up. Turn right side out, put aside for later. (Or you can cheat like I did I used the ends of an old pillow case.

    If you are using a t-shirt sew up all three sides.

    *everyone* Fold fabric in half, and draw a line about 3 centimeters down from the top. Make notches where you would like to have your handles. Then cut inbetween the notches.

    Now you will flatten down the bottom edges, this will become a gusset.

    Step 6

    Draw a line as wide as you would like the gusset to be and sew along the line. Repeat to other side.

    Step 7

    Turn bag right side out, fold along the lines and insert handles where you cut the slits. Pin and sew about a centimeter down.

    Step 8

    Unfold and sew 1 Centimeter down and sew all around the top of the bag. Embelish if you want and your done!
