I really like your idea. The old sweater is transformed into a pair of super cute sweater boots, and the style is very special. You can also see that you have a certain understanding of the boots. I recently bought a pair of boots, See a site boots look good, the price is also cheap, that is, do not know how the quality, I would like to hear your opinion

Did this. LOVE this. Will post mine soon as a verson. But I do want to add two notes. The fist is to use a STRONG cable or structured sweater. I used a fatigued one with a GREAT pattern but they quickly became ankle boots, no structure. Second, you should stress the reason to use ballet shoes is the supple soul. I picked a sturdier sole and had a hard time pulling the shoe through the sleeve. Just some tips. I LOVE my new boots even if I sweated over them a bit. Kudo's!
Super cute!! The gray you made looks just like a pair of Uggs I wanted. I am going to give this a shot this weekend. Thanks so much for a great and useful craft.
Those are really cute...Do you think it would work as well if you used house slippers?...I have been wanting to get some of those boot slippers for around the house and it sounds like fun to make these.
Awesome. I'm off the charity(thrift) shop on Monday to find a sweater.
My daughter paid £££'s for a pair of "real" sweater boots. I can have em in any colour I like lol
Thanks for the how to
I love it. I love the tutorial, I love the wit, I love the originality, I love it! Good job!
The whole MacGuyver comment makes me feel a lot more epic whilst DIYing
For step 6, I just mean don't sew a seam like 1/4" inch away from the edge. Since the sweater is so stretchy and bulky, it might not catch both sides as it can move around a bit while you're sewing. I gave it like a good 1/2 inch to make sure it sewed through both layers. I hope that helps!
Hi. Awesome project. I originally had the other favourited but yours goes into so much more detail (probably since it's actually your project lol). I have a potentially dumb question though: In step 6, when you said "Be sure to make your seam wide enough to catch both sides of your stretchy knit" what does that mean? I'm sort of new to sewing so I'm not really up there with the terms and phrasing of stuff
Yeah, I was trying to set the record straight. This is originally my tutorial, I'm trying to have it so just one version is posted. I haven't gotten a response back from the original poster to remove the duplicate or at least credit the original source.
this priject blew my mind away
thnxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx sooo much ^_^
i adore it!
i`ll try it!
BTW, how much did that embroidery machine of yours cost? Or what did you do the embroidery with? It's real cool.

I can sew, but I'm not sure I could do these, but it'd be cool to try.
