Hi Paola M.! Did you read the above tutorial? In Step #2 I detailed where to get the straps. Places that supply to shoe school students or the leatherworking/show trade may sell it in small amounts, but it's pretty much impossible to get elsewhere. Hope that helps!

Aw, Vintage, LOL! Yes, these are definitely "stab yourself in the ankle" heels! Glad you like despite the danger tho!

*Rachie Homemaker*: Thank you! (Though in my case summoning the dedication to document the process and then make a tutorial from it added hours on to the project time!

DarkAshHurts: Thank you so much! (The Bordello shoes were pretty freakin' amazing to begin with; it wasn't all me.;-) Yeah, someone else was like, oh just have them done in China, sell them here and get rich! And I was like - um...I'm no Steve Madden. (heh heh heh) Plus I really don't want to get slapped with a huge lawsuit! Being just a single person working on these in my spare time...it took me like 5 hours to DIY the pair...over a period of a couple weeks...I'd want to charge the same price as the originals in order for it to be worth my time!

Those are absolutely fantastic. And better than the designers! Beautiful.
I'd freakin love a pair of my own...but i'd fall flat on my face. lol
You should make a lot & sell them like a designer.lol $$$*wink*$$$
Thank you Serpentira! I was thinking of how to get that texture on the toe box, and I wasn't about to use Swarovskis due to the cost like the original. At first I thought heat-set round studs, but again, that's costly and labor-intensive. I needed something that would create a 3D effect, and I remembered back to my childhood where I used Scribbles paint to paint on t-shirts - and how I would hate the stiff, 3D effect. So I thought, why not try it on these? They turned out better than I had hoped! Hope you try something like it - I'd love to see!

I absolutely love those shoes! With my luck I'd probably trip and stab myself with a spike though lol
They turned out so well... I'm rather tempted to try something like them. The fabric paint part is probably one of the neatest bits though, in my opinion- it looks pretty amazing, and definitely leaves room for lots of fun (rainbow glitter anyone?) You do some of the neatest projects
Thank you M.a.r.i.s.o.l!
The great thing about these is that you can totally customize how you want with the studs and everything! Have fun with your version!

Thanks Mi.ezekatze! (Well, I didn't make the shoe itself - just added some straps, spikes, and texture! Making the shoe from scratch would have been way more of an undertaking LOL!)

Haha Haylee S.! It's the platform I think that makes it so sexy - the rest of the shoe says "get the hell away from me!" It's dangerous!;-P

Thanks michelle G. - didn't even know Outsapop had featured my tutorial!
So nice of you to say, Vicky Ninja! I think black will go with more things than the gold designer version.
Thanks Tine! But the platform maryjanes were only $60...so I guess I could just buy them again if I wanted to and wear them as is! Bordello shoes are really hot!
Thanks YaoichouTM! (Why can't you wear heels?) Well, they're definitely not for everyday!;-)
I need this. I have several plain black pairs of boots and shoes that could use this modification.
Thank you so much for sharing this!
