About
Tiered Strawberry Planter from Repurposed Gutters and left over wood - 100% Free
After a dear friend gave me some strawberry plants, I went running for the garage, lovely man in tow, to make our condo! Those used gutters were begging for a project and I've seen different versions of this online so away we go.
Everything we used was already laying around from other projects. =D

Step 1
Simple, simple, simple.
The sawhorse pattern for the braces is just like it looks. Put a angled edge on one end and screw the two pieces solidly together.
For the Gutters, drill 1/4" holes every 5" for proper drainage. Stop up the ends with at least 2" wide wood for extra support and drill those in place as well.
Make sure you use a nice fluffy soil mix. I use 1/3 vermiculite, 1/3 peat moss and 1/3 compost.Step back and admire your beautiful Strawberry Condo and the Lovely Man who I couldn't have done it without.
