Star Box

A box filled with 100 paper stars.
This was the first handmade gift I ever gave my boyfriend. I gave it to him on the 100th day we were together. I painted it and filled it with 100 origami stars. On the inside of the lid I wrote the nursery rhyme:

"Star light, star bright,
The first star I see tonight;
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight."

Underneath the stars the inside of the box I wrote:

"My wish came true when I found you."

Making this was a lot of fun. It was the first time I'd ever made my own stencil and my first time making origami stars. I was so nervous to give this to my boyfriend but he loved it and now I make him presents all the time. Sorry the top got a tiny bit messed up in the past year and a half.
