About
Funky Tealight Lanterns
Got sick to death looking at my rusty lanterns, but they were expensive to buy originally and way to good to throw away, so.....
Went out and got some car paint spray, waited till a sunny day, masked all the glass up on the lanterns, hung the lanterns on my washing line and sprayed them blue and the same with the stand, hung it on the washing line and sprayed that black, then applied the clear spray lacquer to the lanterns and stand.
Because it was nice and sunny the paint and lacquer was dry within the hour, then i evenly wrapped the pearl beads around the stand.
Ok, with all the items i got, to re vamp the lanterns,....nearly cost £30, i think i paid that originally for them from a garden centre 6yrs, but i got to keep my lanterns, they will last at least another five years before re spraying, plus the colours have funked up my garden.
