Step 3
The Nose I don't remember that well.
but
Round 1: magic loop 6 sc into loop
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around...this where it gets foggy..I know I tapered it off at the end so I can ONLY assume I decreased 1 sc 1 around till I was happy with it..then whipped stitched into place. It is really all in the makers hands just make the eyes and nose to whatever size is pleaseing to you.

Step 4
For the freckles I used french knots and red yarn. youtube has good videos of how to do this if you are uncertain of how to do the french knot and the magic loop for that matter
-
Step 5
The mouth is done with surface crochet ..(once again youtube it). But all it really is...is a slip stitch on top of your finished stitches. Or you could do the yarn needle and thread way..I have used both on many projects. finish off (remember this I tend to forget) or Mr square pants will lose his smile.
