Step 1
I am going to be honest with you. I am really bad at measuring things (that’s why I am NOT a food blogger). So I basically eye-balled all the ingredients for this, but that’s the best part about sugar scrub, it doesn’t have to be exact. I started by mixing the brown sugar and oil until I had a dry paste. I don’t like mine very “wet” but you can add more oil until it is a consistency you like. Typically, I like to use coconut oil, I like the way that it gets solid when cold, but I was all out so I used a mix of grape seed oil (great for skin and hair), apricot oil ( easily absorbs into the skin) and olive oil ( may help with acne).

Step 2
Once the consistency was where I liked it, I added the vanilla, lots of pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon, and a little bit of instant coffee. I know that pumpkin pie spice already has cinnamon in it, but I didn’t feel like it was enough. I choose to use instant coffee because I don’t like having large chunks of coffee grounds in my sugar scrub.

Step 4
To use the sugar scrub, rub a small around onto your skin (face, arms, legs, belly, lips, etc.) and wash it off with warm water. Just as easy as that. I like to use it at the end of my shower routine.
